Cambodia’s Largest Mural Festival Holds Three Days of Parties

PHNOM PENH: The Murals for Cambodia Festival officially launches with not one, not two, but three parties from February 25-27, at the Factory Phnom Penh. Internationally renowned artist, Fonki & FT Gallery, created this festival to unveil 9 new larger-than-life murals painted by local and international artists from eight different countries.

Fonki & FT Gallery created this festival in partnership with the Japan Foundation Asia Center, Jean-Baptiste Carraro, the Factory Phnom Penh, Urban Village Phnom Penh, Dots MTN Cambodia, Eilat Events, B-Side, Klaypyahandz, and Baramey Production. The event is also presented by Tiger Beer.

The unveiling party features artists such as: Tones, Twoone, Mauy MSV, Nap MSV, Ryysa, Mike YSK, Kimsan Sou, Fonki, Tytaat, Imagine, Jean-Baptiste Carraro, Sary Nou, Channy Chhoeun, Ma R Daneth, So Sothsovankong aka Kwn23, and Hom Rith coming from Cambodia, Switzerland, Japan, Thailand, Holland, Canada, Nepal, and France.

The line-up for February 25 includes 2MDIE, Scotty Darkne$$, El Socrates, Sochhata, Ruthko, Vin Vitou, Isame Siva, and DJ Marie Thach.

The line-up for February 26 includes DJ Moto, DJ Ryu, Vanthan, La Cima Cartel, Nikki Nikki, DJ Marie Thach, Ca$hRules.

Finally, Reezy, D-man, Free Pres, and Premo Sounds will wrap up the three day event on February 27 with a bang. The parties start from 7pm and will go on late into the night.
